श्रीभगवानुवाच
śrībhagavānuvāca
मात्रास्पर्शास् । आगमापायिनोऽनित्यास्तांस् ॥
mātrāsparśāstu kaunteya śītoṣṇasukhaduḥkhadāḥ | āgamāpāyino'nityāstāṃstitikṣasva bhārata ||
Meaning
"Contacts of the senses with their objects, Kaunteya — cold and heat, pleasure and pain — come and go. They are impermanent. Endure them, Bharata."
"इन्द्रियों के विषयों से स्पर्श, कौन्तेय — शीत और उष्ण, सुख और दुःख — देते हैं। वे आते-जाते हैं; अनित्य हैं। उन्हें सह लो, भारत।"
